Allen's post

Allen's actually done repainting the kitchen, but I haven't gotten around to getting finished pictures yet, these were taken during the process, Sorry Allen, had to post the hair picture!

Allen also put the railings on the trailer that dad asked him for. If you need to know dad, the railings are two feet shorter than the trailer, thsu the gap picture. 10 Foot trailer, 8 foot boards or something like that he was telling me while I was trying to get ready for work and post this at the same time . . . I mean I do multitask very well, I just can't be trying to do four things at once.

My blacksmith comes again tomorrow to do feet again, I think he'll be happy with the progress Phoenix's feet have made in the past 6 weeks. they were long and drifted to pidgen toed, so we're working on getting them straightened. To my knowledge, his feet have been like that for as long as I can remember, but they didn't look right to me-hence the blacksmith. I wasn't so sure anyway. Phoenix seems to like this guy and We'll just see how far this goes.

Cleaning Day, or should I say Bathe day?

Not exactly sure what order this was all done in, other than the bathes were today, and everything else was before them, but whatever I guess.
Here's Allen when he re-painted the hood of my truck. I need to pick up a few more cans of the paint and get some better stuff this time, this can ran all over the place(or an aresol can that's terrible) and Allen got covered in white, the bumber, the ground, you name it and it probably got painted.

The Fourth of July Parade, since Mom had Allen's car that day going shopping, we took the truck up to watch the parade. We got kind of lazy and went up early so I could just park the truck and sit in the truck to watch the parade. Allen sure does look comfy!

Jazzy and Pheonix both got bathes this morning. Pheeny was being a dork about it, he's used to warm water baths and wash stalls, here he got tied, like Jazz on the grass and washed by the hose and frostfree water line-no warm water there! Jazz loves to play with the hose when I do her face, she wiggles her lips in the water. Pheonix was done first so I could toss his fly stuff back on and get him back out in the pasture. Jazz, since I know she bathes well I waited until after to do.

I got a little bit soaked since Jazz has such a long mane and the bugs were atrocious so she kept shaking her head. I didn't care, other than the weird looks from other people at Hannaford afterwards to get dad's perscriptions. Rubberboots, soaked jeans and tee-shirt, you might wonder. The guys at Country Power-went there for Grain while I was down there- just laughed.
I got filthy going through and mowing around my rabbit shed and cleaning all the cages and what not. But it looks great in and around it now! Lol. Time to take a nice shower and relax for the remainder of my weekend.

Little bit of Everything

And Everything is about the right thing . . .

It started with changing my powersteering hoses. Changed way to easily for Mark and me and he HAD to say it, "Eh, What else can go wrong?". Well. Mom's waterpump in her car, my powersteering got an airbubble in it so I thought I had blown the pump up- It is going to get changed as the weather starts to co-operate, but it's fine. Then while mom was coming home from Kentucky, one of allen's tires exploded on her.

Looks purdy doesn't it?

We ended up waiting 3 hours for a garage to open up that worked on cars(We got to mom arond 5am), the first two we stopped at only worked on trucks(and by trucks I mean the big semi's and dump trucks- not little trucks like mine). The people that lived across the road from the garage were Amish folks, and being the slightly unsmart person that I am at that hour of the morning(8 am), took a wonderful picture of the horse and buggy as they left the farm house. Then was told Amish don't like their pictures being taken. Opps. Well at least in the picture you can't see their faces which I guess is okay. Learned that Mom's dad was born Amish but chose to leave that life. Learn something new everyday I guess.

So finally get back on the road, it's almost 80 degree's outside, so mom and Aunt Sheri stick me in the Buick(No A/C), and we actually got on I84 in Penn and got caught in Traffic!:

And then the driving rain once we were heading back home from Aunts house, my truck stayed in East Greenbush with Uncle, mom was too tired to drive(And SHE was tired? What about me?) So I drove the two of us home and we got home around 6:30 pm, in that same friggin downpour, my truck got left behind. I fed the rabbits and filled what water bottles I could with what water I had in the bucket and ran back inside. Then took a nice shower and went to work-talk about sleep deprevation. By the time I finally got to go to bed, I had been up for 37 and a half hours. Work wasn't pretty that night either.
Thursday night when mom finally woke me up again, I lazed around for a little while and finally came in, bored I texted Rachel "I'm bored, Wanna chat?" and I got a phone call with Rachel singing 'Find out Who Your Friends Are', by Tarcy Lawrence, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney. She and her mom had a flat tire out in the back area in North Argyle. I had a reason to pick up some Ice Cream now! LOL. So spent a few hours with them and got home around 1 am.(I got there about 9pm) and Naturally it was in the rain, and dark but my truck was good. Today I'm going to be using my truck to get the tire remounted and back on Cindy's truck so she's got her vehicle back. :) Well makes for a long week or so here. Maybe I'll post pictures of the horses, bunnies and Magic this evening.
