Tessa's home!

Nelson and I in the trailer getting Tessa. Off dad's camera
Me unloading Tessa. Sorry very little words here, gotta get to the good pics

Rocking horse canter! I was glad she stayed moving for me to get the camera out!

Dad took Phoenix out to munch some grass, I was waiting for Mr. Montgomery to get here with the hay

Tessa and Jazz do enjoy each other. Tessa's got a buddy!

Sherralyn stopping to take a cat nap.

Tessa watching where Dad had Pheonix out of the feild. Despite Pheeny chasing her, she still hollered for him.

Almost all the burrs are out of her tail!

Looking for Phoenix

Inking Babies and Packing Larry

One of the Velve Boys, you can barely see it in his ear, The last three were done today. They had such nice big wide ears to work with.

This is one of the spots. I had been taking the pictures of them before I tattooed them, but went backwards on him. He had good sized ears for it, a few of the Spots' ears were tiny and harder to work in.

After dad and Aunt Lisa stopped by dropping half of Larry here, Mom and I got to pack it up into freezer bags and put it in the freeze. Here's some pictures. I have never seen this much beef in one place before. Quite astounding to me

The purple tote is all hamburger. I couldn't move that tote afterwards.

And for Aunt Anne, we ended up with 3 packages of Liver for you. Mom put some of the other stuff in a bag for you with the liver for the next time we see you.

Horsie World Update

It was nice enough outside today to remove the heavy blankets off the horses so I put Phoenix lighter fleece blanket on.
Sherralyn doesn't have a blanket but she's so fuzzy. Comes with youth~at least in horses.

Jazz went for a walk down the road with me since it was nice out. I went ahead and polo'd her backlegs since she does have a habit of hitting her own legs and she got her lighter plaid blankie on.

It's easy to tell she got barley any eye sight left. But at least her ears were pricked and she enjoyed sniffing a lot of things, something you'd normally see a dog do.

Put a little video clip on there, you can hear her feeties hit the asphault. Micheal's got them hooves in the right place for strength. It was a humerous minute walking just listening to her hooves hit the ground, very comforting at least for me.

*Hence the reason one day I would love to get another dog to go walking with, less prep, that's for sure!

Minor Barn modification

Dad, Allen and I were slightly bored today since it's still snowing. We built the shelf to put some small things on. Mostly so I can start some organization, especially with Tessa coming in Friday(hopefully if I can get Mr. Francis to truck again).

Made this shelf out of barn board and some 2 x 4's.
This wire shelf is to hold grooming tools and the extra feed buckets that are proving useless in the winter. So you know, those fence hanging buckets, don't work terribly well on panel's. They tend to try and break the hanging arms off. I have a lot of stress marks in them so I'm switching to the ground rubber buckets as I get them back in.

Group 1 of the English Spot babies, one hoping over the other. 2 blue bucks, 2 Lilac bucks with the Tort Velveteen Lop buck

Group #2, This group has 1 Lilac buck, 1 blue doe, 1 blue buck, 1 Tort velveteen Lop

Had to find something to do today. . . .

Meet Felicity

This is baby Felicity. I got her to *hopefully* try to replace Blaze. Blaze was a one of a kind, but I want to try. Her ears are still working on flopping down, but she's a meager 8 weeks old.

One side

The other side.
So while I'm still letting my dutch die out I'm still keeping my Hollands and Velveteen Lops going(and the English Spot, they've grown on me!)
I've sold a couple of the babies now, one Spot buck and one Velveteen Buck. so I've only got one Velveteen left(out of 8) and 6 (out of 9) Spot babies left.

Christmas Joy and Blaze

Mom and I set up a small Fiberoptic Christmas tree for this year.

Mom playing with the tinsel like stuff.

The tree done with the tinsel stuff and the butterfly topper
With a few little ball ornaments. As soon as I pick up the Breyer ornament, I will put it on there too.
Lastly, my baby Blaze has has left me. His whole family has already gone, he was the last of his litter. His last sister died around a year ago.

He was my first Rabbit and he was the best bunny a girl could ever ask for. I upgraded the photo some, but apparently you can't see it well.

Minimul update

Been cold and snowy here at home, but the horses feel right at home, they're on the second round bale, they love that hay.

Phoenix does still love laying down to take a nap.

Sherry-Lynn(She at least responds to that name, not Oriana, so I gave up on Oriana) walking back towards the hay bale.

One of the baby Velveteen Lops. I can't wait until she can get on a show table in the spring.

3 of the Baby english spots. I lost one when I was forced to wean the 9 babies early due to momma developing mastitis. But 8 Healthy babies and a healthy momma.
Not much of an update is it? Sorry folks.
