Today was a busy Saturday. I took out my 2 buck stack cages for a cleaning and spray painting. They look much better and hopefully the boys appreciate the scrubbing I did on them! Then replaced 4 of the doe's floor wires. Opal, Hermione, Raven and Della I'm sure the ladies will appreciate it!
Then I got some of the chin babies out of their box and got some pictures of them, they're so cute!!
Last thing I did before coming inside for tonight was to put some pink surveyor ribbon up for Bailey to see and hear along the fence edge. Bailey seems to be able to see pink and bright colors.

Hair chop
I usually grow my hair out long enough to cut it off and donate it, Wigs for Kids. Normally I wait until I know it's long enough that I can cut it so it touches my shoulder after cutting. I usually have Hazel do it, but she's out for medical reasons so I had one of the other girls do it.
A before shot above- taken with the Bathroom mirror- an after a shower shot below. It's a bit short now- shorter than I wanted to go with it BUT it is for a good cause, I can regrow it and it's lighter for the summer in the Sauce Room.
We shall see tomorrow, when I go back to work how it goes with going under the hard hat and everything. I'll see later when I go up to ride Heidi how it fits under my riding helmet too.
Speaking of Heidi, Sunday I was up and riding her, she was FANTASTIC. She's been such a good girl. She's been off almost 2 whole weeks partly because of weather and partly because I never got over there to ride her. But with Molly and a friend of hers out riding Ben and Rooster I had Heidi in there. Gave Heidi the idea of having to work with someone else in the ring besides her, she actually kept going for over an hour. LOTS Of trotting and plenty of walking since we're both out of shape but she was fantastic.
Sandy was a great photographer, She's off in Florida for some kind of Deposition and Court thing but when she gets back we're going to work on getting her back up on to Heidi and walking around. We'll get her riding again. Heidi's so good natured about everything I throw at her. Hopefully the end of the month will be her last as a pasture board, and she'll go full board in May due to the heat. She was starting to sweat when I pulled her out of the pasture from being in the sun. I'm going to try to get her into the stall across from Spencer. Yesterday was a bum day, cleaned rabbit cages, moved rabbits around and did pictures between the new ones and the ones I've listed for sale. Today will be back up and ride on Heidi, the weather has been AWESOME for that! Plus I'll stop in and see Aunt Lisa and Grandma one more time before going back to work for 4 straight days!

Bunny Show pictures
Here's a few pictures from the Rabbit show today. It's not much but I should have taken more pictures.
a big fluffy french angora- I talked to her breeder and she said she spends roughly 3 hours every OTHER day grooming them, she also had a white up on a table loose too.
A few pictures of Hermione and Eliot on the table in the first show. Everyone was thoroughly enamored with the Chinchilla Dutch.

Grandma's Move
The pictures aren't in the best order, some from the big camera, some from my small camera.
The U Haul all packed up(technically at Aunt Anne's house though)
Tinks watching Aunt Lisa on the trip down when we stopped for gas at one point.
Leaving Grandma's to put the car up on the dolly- so this is somewhere near Palm Bay- the weather was stunning!
My Rig for the ride home: Wasn't so daunting- in hindsight. I know I was north of Jacksonville before I let go of my death grip on the steering wheel and relaxed.
Aunt Lisa, Grandma, Nell and Tinks Ride:
And off we went Sunday morning!
Some shots on the ride to South Carolina to Aunt Anne's:
Boy was I glad to see That sign. The truck had me stiff!
Lovely brick wall at the state line
These are somewhere between South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. I know once I hit the heavy up and down the camera never moved again.
Ta Da- BAT MAN!
It was so nice to get home again. I was so sore and so tired of driving. Today, after working for 7.5 hours I realized my really sore and stiff spots. So short night at work. I'll make do with it on my next paycheck. I'll figure it out.
After getting back to Aunt Lisa's, and taking a pit stop while the guys went and unloaded the U Haul, I took a quick run to go see Heidi. I hadn't seen her in over a week and I was dying to get my arms around her neck. She as out grazing in the back of the pasture of coarse.
Hopefully Friday will be a good, deep grooming, a nice little ride and then home to get ready for the Rabbit show on Saturday.
