Heidi is home again!

Heidi is home from Nelson's/Aunt Lisa's for breeding.  She showed no signs of coming back into heat when she should have so Nelson brought her home.  I am so happy to have her home and after a day or so they are BFF's again.

Willow was trying to be a pointer.  She's a very hairy pointer.

Apples!!
They are getting bigger and more orange, but I believe the cedar rust on the apple trees themselves will cause the fruit to not get full size or something.  But we can spray the trees good next year and hopefully get MORE apples next year!

Carter Caves- Cascade Cave

Jess went with me and we did the walking tour of Cascade Cave- a part of the Carter Caves system down in Carter County.  It was fantastic!

Under ground waterfall and everything!

Apples and ponies!

Mom had me go out and check the plum trees for her and I did a check over on the apple trees as well  We got APPLES, no plums but we got apples on both trees!

Oh yeah and a birds nest too.  At least it was empty at this point.

I cut down the grass from around the rose bushes.  I don't think it's been done for a while.  The big knock out rose had a wasp nest in it as well.

They look kind of sad.  Been a while since the grass was removed from around them.
On the 1st I moved Heidi from Nelson's to Aunt Lisa's pond pasture for her to do her waiting period to see if she comes back into heat.  She will have up to 2 weeks with Aunt Lisa pending on the sheep pastures hold out for the sheep.  Heidi is happy to have a big clover filled pasture to make her super drooly

Tessa is hanging tough by herself here.  She does like her backyard grazing time she gets daily.

The neighbors are scared of her when she's in the backyard, wonder how much they will shit themselves when they see Heidi . . . .
