Ponies are still getting muddy but I had to close off their run in again today because Heidi's thrush has gotten really bad. Odd as it's usually Tessa that gets it bad. But tomorrow I will be stopping and picking up a hoof supplement and starting both of them on it.
Heidi's getting more tired and uncomfortable on her feet so with any luck she'll foal towards the beginning of her due date range.
Today they kept alerting to something moving over by Francine's old place. Tessa would run a circle, snorting
I walked up the fence line cause I could see something moving on the amish side of the fence from Francine's old house. Turns out it was a big dappled gray percheron in the Amish fence.
Heidi's udder is developing. I fear this will be all I see until there is a foal nursing on it.
Then I stopped by the garden on the way back. My basil plants are growing good.
This is the lettuce and it's come up really well too.
Not sure what this stuff is, spinach maybe? Jess would know.
If the last one is the spinach than this is the scallions and carrots
Willow enjoyed running around in the late afternoon sunshine. She's getting the new work schedule down a lot better now.
