So after a "FUN" loading session(at least it only took half an hour today). We got Heidi moved over to Tamarack for a 4 week stay to wean off Stormy. Dad driving with Aunt Lisa as his co-pilot in Lisa's truck and trailer. I have already booked her a trailer ride home in 4 weeks from a professional hauler since he has a ramp load trailer and Heidi HATES step ups- he just wasn't available this weekend.
Heidi is currently in the big field that has grass in it, with two other mares. I did get her halter off and Perry said about an hour later the trio were all grazing together.
Stormy is less than amused. She was still calling her Heidi after we got the roll of hay out.
At first she wouldn't even come up tome, but after we put the roll out she came for some cuddles and I told her, her momma would be back in a month.
