The forgotten post

I can't believe I forgot to post these on Thursday . . .
Thursday was Ben and Jerry's moving up day.  They progressed from being my little baby bulls to being little steers and learning to be in a real pasture with other livestock!
They went through, got their shots, castration and horns done and we dropped them in the feild with Hildy and the sheeps for a couple days before they were moved in with the weithers, Dwayne the ram(was it Dwayne?) and Speedy.
They were a little shocked at this sight:
But after we let the boys loose, we loaded Hildy up and brought her in for her horns and shots.  Hildy was none too impressed with this idea.

But once the de-horning heals up, she'll have a gorgeous smooth head!  She'll be mucho prettier without them horns.

The horses were happy to get their barn back

Which they promptly lost the next morning because Bahloo thought it would be fun to start rough-housing inside and kicking the wall(or horse) and I was in feeding the rabbits.  So I locked them back out of the barn for a few more days.  It won't kill them, just makes them upset.  I can't have them kicking through the wall into the rabbits.  But they had the barn for one day.  Once I re-fix a few things I'll open it back up again, but until then they can stand under the trees for their shade-cooler that way anyway.

Baby bunnies

Here's Trina's babies, first picture is from day 1, the second picture is at 3 days old.  She's still got all 8 so Rosie and Trina are going to have them a nice broken red boyfriend as soon as I can find one.
I *might* just be excited about having red colored babies again!!
And Today, when Dad and I went over to pick up the trailer to bring the little boys over, Megan came and brought Josie home with her.  She's going to be Megan's project and her mom Sheri's walking partner.  She's going to train her to drive eventually and has a friend with a Gray- silver dapple that they're going to eventually train to team drive and solo drive.  I can only picture a gray-silver dapple with a chocolate silver dapple- ohh so purdy!!    She also wants to break her to give pony rides to small kids.
And the pen she's got set aside for Josie- it's mostly weeds and bare ground.  Megan had a few things to move that her brother decided to put in the pen out of view(and out of mind).
