Well no pictures to post

I got my purple Nylon draft horse tack, and I tried the the bridle on Bahloo and  . . . .

It's too BIG.

Thankfully being mine and nylon I can burn holes to make it smaller.  I tried it on between rain showers.

Around 4 pm Tony came out today to check out Tess.  He's made me an offer that I think I might take.  I was able to get on Tessa since thankfully it wasn't raining while Tony was here, and I got gross and nasty, but we might do a 50% hay 50% cash deal for Tessa.

I also got one bunny sold today. He's one of the last 3 lop earred rabbits one more buck and a doe to go!
THinking of bunnies, there is one more show I'm looking at attending- Wilmington Ohio, it's 2.5 hours north through Maysville and I'm thinking 5 dutchies to bring with me.  Trying to find out when my other 4-holer will make it back to Kentucky so hopefully I can bring some New Zealands with me as well.

Anyway, More pictures this coming weekend when I go riding, it's time to get ready to go back to work.

Horse world update

Technically the saddle racks were put up yesterday, but I got the picture and stuff today.
When I get my english, I'll get another wall mount and put it up above my western.

So today, since I was on this side, looking for my last Nylon bridle, I decided to get some new Pictures of Tessa for her flyer, I takced her up with the bareback pad and got her moving, she's really coming around into great shape.

Eventually, since my feet don't fit in the stirrups on the bareback pad, I took that off and we worked without it.  At one point I did get up on her but she still doesn't understand what I want of her and I don't know how to teach her or tell her what I want.  It's a green horse, unexperienced trainer combo . . . We are at an impass.

Thanksgiving

Okay, I know Uncle Jim and Dad have already beaten me to this but I figured I'd get a couple pictures up that aren't already up on one of the other blogs.
This was the turkey after it fell apart.
Turkey, mashed potatos gravey and you can see both stuffings.
Black Eyed Peas, Collard Green and deviled Eggs

After eating A. Lisa and I went out to finish up chores, the girls came outside as well.

The other nice picture of Paris.  Rachel likes this one over the other one . . .
 Darryl and his 'girls'
 Special sheepies
Paige watching us . .  .

Finally got 'em Clean!!!

We've had soo much rain that the horses were all Gross!!

These pictures are from this morning!

Before I got in there to brush, even they have standing water in their feild, and that feild is higher up than mine.
After removing his blanket and brushing him.
Her legs are still gross, but they aren't even dry yet, there is just too much water everywhere.  But she certainly cleaned up really nice for not having a rain sheet on like Phoenix.

After cleaning up all three horses I went into the barn and got Tattoo's on the rest of the rabbits that didn't have any and aren't meat bunnies.  I've still got black all over my hands, I forgot the ink bottle was open and split about half the bottle down my totes and my hand, I had a black thumb-literally.
For the most part I got all the black ink off of me, around the finger nails is the worst though.

Bunny Show and Models!

Firstly, let me say I'm sorry.  I was just simply too tired to upload these last night.
Anyway- Shepardsville put on a Rabbit show on the 19th.  I took two Dutch and two New Zealands for me to show and one dutch that I was trading to a little tort Dutch doe.
Xena and Juliet are the two in the two-holer, my broken New Zealand Does.
Cooter is the black Dutch, then Tortie is the traded doe and Colby is my tort buck on the end.

Best in show-show A.  This dude is checking the Ear tattoo's to make sure he has all the correct rabbits there.

The over flow of Best of Breeds- See Syd?  The gray dutch in the middle?  I bred him, and sold him and he took Best of Breed for the Dutch in the first show.  I was SOO proud.
Judging tables were in the middle of the room and people set up around the outside edges.

Aunt Lisa, looking at some Flemish Giants, they were some BIG bunnies.

This is the little tort doe I traded for.
She's Syd's daughter to boot!
 This is the tort's sister
 The little tort's brother
These two grays were a minor side fault, but I know a few people that breed dutch on this side of the state so I bought them off the others to bring them back here to sell onto the other breeders, or with the doe, I'll breed her myself in a few months.

Today since it was raining, I decided to finally finish the few models I had left to paint, other than a couple of horse models.
Here's Magic, it was a chocolate lab from Breyer.
MoJo, a cat model from Tractor Supply:
Blaze, a lop rabbit from Tractor Supply:
 All of my 'firsts' together!
Jasmine- first horse
Magic-first dog
MoJo- first cat
Blaze- first rabbit

Bahloo's Bath!!

Before the bath, I didn't think she was quite as dirty as she was!
During the bath, dad had some fun taking pictures of me getting wet.
I tossed Phoenix's fleece on her while she started to dry off a little bit and mowing the edge of the road.  People looked at me nuts with the horse at the edge of the road without being held onto or tied.
Dry, already rolled once and been through the pond!  I scraped a TON of the rain rot lumps off of her and Miranda suggested to get some MTG and spread that onto the area affected and it gets rid of it easily, and I can find it at Tractor Supply, so I might have to stop there on the way to work tomorrow.
