Busy times

The ponies are doing great.  It's starting to get hot out so today I managed to braid up Stormy and Heidi's mane's.
Stormy's hair is THICK- like an OMG so thick like Bahloo's was.

She looks so grown up out there

After the ponies I went up the hill and played with the girls, and Willow because she thought I had abandoned her.

And lastly my little wild babies that I am attempting to nurse until they can go off on their own.  One is eating pretty good, the other I think I am keeping barely alive.

I am just hopeful that I can keep them alive long enough to turn them free in another week or two.

Girls, Garden and Starting the clean up

I went to check the girls water tank today, I didn't think they would have drank too much since it has been raining quite a bit.  But get a good brushing over them and check them.  I tried to take their fly masks off so that they could get some air to their faces but the girls were unhappy with all the flies bugging their eyes.

So I put their fly masks back on.

Turns out Heidi's nose started to sunburn, so I slathered some aloe heal on it to heal up the skin, once it's healed I'll get the sunblock out for her nose.

Stormy was loving the scratching.

I checked over the garden just to see how it is going, or not going.  Lots of our plants didn't seem to do too well this year.
Green onions- well 3 came up in the whole box.  Poopy.

A single Thyme plant.

Jess' red leaf lettuce just isn't growing very well either and the heat will get it eventually.

Even the cucumber didn't grow too well either.  Def not as big as it ought to be!

But big enough to grow me a cucumber!

My two basil plants.  A sweet basil is doing decent, hopefully soon I'll be able to start plucking leaves to eat!  The Thai basil I am still unsure about, though it's not dead! Yet!

I took Tessa's pen down, moved the mounting block to the side and most of Heidi's pen is down now too.

Everything is stacked neatly against the barn for the mean time.  Next step start pulling down old fence wire.

Ponies safe now!

Heidi, Tessa and Stormy are all safe and away from my pasture and jerk neighbor.  It was one less stressor causing me some anxiety.  Hopefully Soon Tessa will have a new home as well.

These pictures were done with the camera Allen found for me of Craigslist up in New Hampshire.  The "Non working Pentax K200D"  I had wanted it for that telephoto lens but he got the body to work again.  It takes GREAT photo's!  I love it almost as much as I love my K5 II.  Tis a good thing I already promised it to Dad when he goes out west traveling or else I'd keep it myself or Allen would steal it back.  The telephoto lens- yeah I'm taking that one!
