Horsie update

I have been just bareback halter riding the girls on and off since late December actually, but mostly in January.  It's always been in the pasture since the ground has been too wet to do much.






Heidi's getting heavier, I am estimating 10-11 weeks left until the foal is here.

Stating to get some substance to her teats

She is LOVING the new mash dinner she gets.  I am soaking about 3 quarts(fully soaked) of the Timothy grass pellets and giving Heidi 2/3rds of it, Tessa 1/3rd of it.  To help extend their hay and to help supplement as it's not the best horse hay.


But you can see her big belly.  I really hope for a nice healthy foal.  It would be nice to have a filly for Nelson, but a colt wouldn't be terrible either as that is what Michael would LOVE!
