Bunny Show!!!

Saturday morning Aunt Lisa and I went to the River City and Capital City's RBA rabbit shows.  It was a small show but boy was it fun!!
Not a big building either!
There's Xena, Juliet and Miss Robinson with the tort babies that were for sale on the end.
Aunt Lisa standing at the River City table while judging New Zealands- the gentlemen next to Lisa raised New Zealands as well. He took Best of Breed with a white buck(or was it a doe?) in both shows.
There's Miss Robinson with her Best opposite Sex of Variety win, waiting for Best of Breed choices.
Aunt Lisa cuddling with the Nethie I had, unsure still if I was going to sell her.  She's thinking about keeping the little girl for herself as a pet.

Bunny pictures and New saddle!

I had a bunch of the bunnies out in shifts and small groups in the X-pens on Wednesday.  First up was Oriel so I can start to judge temperment on her.
She's a smart bunny, she understands No quite well.  She was testing her boundaries for a little while to see what she could get away with.  She's a very good doe.

I had Oriel outside by herself I didn't want to push her with someone else yet.  After she went back inside, I had Connie, Natalie, Marcie their mother Keisha, Kylie and her daughter all out there.  I know I have more pictures than this but I only selected a few to post:
Miss Connie:
Keisha with Kylie behind her:
Kylie's little girl that doesn't have a name yet:
Miss Marcie:
Miss Natalie:
Today my saddle for Heidi came in.  It's a Wintec Wide with the 3XL gullet in it- I also have the 1XL and 2 XL gullet bars if she ever gets narrow enough to use them.
And we rode around a little bit to see what I thought of the saddle- LOVE it!!
I can even re-set my stirrups the saddle balances enough on what withers she has to let me do it:
~Despite the girth being too loose cause I forgotten to tighten before mounting
The video isn't the greatest, but shows we still have plenty or work to do to get her going where she needs to be going.  Also still need to work on getting the stirrups exactly where I need them.
This saddle makes it much easier to hug her.
New Saddle, New bits is a big success, now to get the extra money to have the Amish guys put a little time on her(and finish the payments on her)  I guess I will have to bit the bullet and do the OT.

continuation of yesterday's update

Okay so I forgot to add Phoenix's feeties- had to take 'em this morning!

Above are his fronts, they're hugely impressive compared to what they were years ago.  They're barefoot for now unless Phoenix starts to limp again- then he'll wear front shoes year 'round.
His backs, he just looks sooo good.  Yes it rained yesterday night and into today.

Went today to clean up the fence and repair for occupancy tomorrow.  Prior to working on it:

Hmm I might know who was cutting the tree, he kinda forgot his bar and chain in the tree- I assume it got stuck!

All cleaned up and repaired!!!

Long time . . .

Well I know it's been a seriously long time, I haven't bothered, been more entertained with other things. Kylie was here for several days, and we were all out riding- and yes, we even had portable photographer Dad.  Those pictures are all on Facebook.  Wayy to many to upload to photobucket or even Blogger.
Anyway, then over Labor day weekend Jess with Ayden came down from Ohio; Allen and Rachel came down from NY.

Ayden LOVES giving kisses.
Bree's babies are getting bigger they are 4 weeks 1 day as of today.  Here's the two little girls that are going to grow out here with me

The second one looks like Zelda, so it'll be Zelda2.
Now as a quick catch up.  The horses moved back to my feild right after Labor day because a storm took a tree down and bashed the fence.  Which I'll be working on tomorrow.

So today Micheal came and trimmed feet, we removed Phoenix's shoes and we'll see how it goes with him being barefoot again.  If worse comes to worse, Micheal will come back and we'll keep front shoes on him.
We found what Micheal and I both think is a wart on Heidi's hind hoof.  You can see it above, but here's a close up below.

Anyway, I'll try to do better
