My version of Black Friday shopping!

Only after 10 am was my shopping started! I meet mom, Jess and Ayden down in Morehead so mom could go grocery shopping at Walmart with Jess and Ayden. Jess and Ayden came into Tractor Supply to catch up with me first.

The girls waited for me to unload the truck, they figured I would feed them again!

All the stuff I picked up at Tractor Supply was necessary, Rabbit Food, Horse food and horse mineral block. So it wasn't really Black Friday shopping persay. Though it took FOREVER to check out, the little machine for debit/credit cards, was taking forever to run. I ended up waiting in line longer than I was in the store!

More babies moved home!

Phoenix loaded like he's supposed to, a gentleman. From all his years of being a show horse another trailer didn't mean anything to him. Oriana was adament about getting on but Aunt Lisa and I 'talked' her into it- with Nelson's help. The two stood next to each other in the front bay of the trailer, then off to Micheal's to load Tessa. Tessa refused to get within 3 feet of that trailer, we tried for 30 or 40 minutes to get her on and finally gave up, put her back in the pasture with her mom and Dusty and then I led Nelson to out place.
He first led Oriana off the trailer and I took her, while he grabbed Phoenix. I let Oriana into the pasture and she gamesly started munching on the little bit of grass there is. Then I led Phoenix to the water bucket let him take a drink and let him free.

Yeah they got a little food, with some Probios to keep their tummy's calm.

A lady came out and looked at Oriana, she's going to talk it over with her husband tonight and will let me know tomorrow if she wants her or not.

Long Month

It's been almost a month since I last updated, many things have changed.


The Velveteen Lop babies are eating solid food already.

These are the English Spot Babies, They have also started to sample solid foods now.

Mom helped me run the electric fence that's covering the back half of my horse pasture last week.

Jazz in her new pasture today! Ori wouldn't get on the trailer with Jazz so Jazz came solo.

She won't get any closer to that electric fence, but she'll come to me.

It's been almost a month since I last updated.

Good Day

This is one proud Momma. I bred to the buck I got from Virgina, and Today she gave me a surprise! 8 Little wiggly ones.

I know they aren't going to be blue or black, They'd have darker skin if that was the case, so maybe tort, blue tort and maybe a tri or two? I dunno. Give me about 5 or 6 days for fur to start coming in and I'll know for sure. Mommy's a Broken Blue-Tort and Daddy's a solid Tort.

I bought two posts, but we only managed to get one into the ground.

Though for not being cemented it, that post is very firm, we tried to wiggle it after packing the dirt pack in around, and then watered it down, waited for that to soak in and then put some more dirt and going to pack it again tomorrow; it is very solid, we couldn't move it.

Blaze told us when it was time to pack up for the night by running back to the barn.

Lots of moving of items

That's the bookcase that was placed in the 'closet' like thing. For right now the breyer's are going to stay there until I get a shelve up to display them.

This is looking directly into my room at the other bookshelf which is already holding many of my books and Breyers.

I gave the two Velveteen Lop bucks cups, the Red New Zealand buck and one of Velveteen Lop does. They had a ball rolling them around their cages and picking them up and tossing them.

Sadly, I only have 1 cup left that isn't being used as a toss toy and being used as a feed scoop. I need more of them cups!

Rabbit side of Barn complete

I wanted to get the rest of my rabbit cages up on shelves against the wall so I bought another box of screws and 3 2x4's to put the last five cages up. These five will be the home of my mini rexes.
I didn't end up with any in progress pictures, and these went a whole lot faster than the first ones, and they're level too!
Arthur and Gwenyth share the top, since they are my opal pair.
White Gold is goign to have a shelf next to her for suplies. Michelle is goign to share the bottom with my other buck that is coming down with Rachel at Thanksgiving time.

I cleaned out that whole back corner and dad was able to get that trough like thing off the wall. Much neater now.

Preston Court Days and Horses

I took Sunday off from sitting at our yard sale so I could walk around Preston's Court Days, and see my furry kids. After hearing about Dad, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jim's trip I decided to get parked by 9AM and I walked from the little country store to the far side of the village. This shot is about halfway from the store to teh actual start of the village. Yes, more people per square mile than the Warrensburg(New York) Townwide Garage sale in a village half the size of Argyle(New York). There was a TON of people.

When I was walking, faceing the Village, my truck is somewhere on the lefthand side in the picture-I think.

Just a shot downtown, lots of golf carts, 4-wheelers.

More tents!

People didn't care when they walked in front of you. For a small little town, it took WAY too long to drive through.

I did bring home a bunny. Red New Zealand buck, about 15 weeks old. The guy I bought him from said I'd get blacks from a cross of colors with New Zealands. Don't know why I believed him, we shouldn't, but purebred pair of red's is what I had originally wanted anyway. SO I might keep Pippin and get a Californian doe to cross with him to try a cross bred of two meat breeds and then purebred New Zealands. I called him Aragorn, to keep to a Lord of the Rings theme(I know Trisha isn't Lord of the Rings).

I stopped twice at Micheals to see Tessa, but she was up on the top of the back hill. I didn't feel like walking across the whole pasture just to see her. Oh well. Maybe next Sunday. I also stopped by Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jim's to see them, I lended a few hands helping them with their Chicken house, and then I grabbed a bit of food to start feeding Jazz once a week, beet pulp and mare and foal mix. She loved that stuff. I hope it tasted good to her, cause it smelled yucky to me. Jesse said he is going to set up a time/date to come take a look at Oriana for his fiance Holly. Shockingly after Dad had mentioned him to me and Aunt Lisa I ran into him at the gas station on the way home! Oh the Irony. Holly and Jesse looked at pictures that I had on my cell phone. I have increasingly too many pictures on my cell phone.
