Horsie update, Miracle and New breeding doe

Well the first ticks and warbles of the season are now out and about.  So on top of Tessy and Phoenix getting Rabies, Coggins and the teeth floating done on Monday, they'll be getting Lyme Vaccines as well.

This is the red spot from the Scarlett Spray on the Warble hole in his leg.  Nasty pulling the Warbles out, so next week, they get Zimecteran Gold for their deworming.
This is from the tick.  It had bit Yesterday afternoon while I was at work and it was exploded already this morning.  Nasty.
The two together, I bought a second set of fly masks so now I just have to modify Tessy's with color ribbon or something so I know which one is hers.

This is the Miracle baby New Zealand.  The mice chewed two of her legs while she was in the nest box, both left fore and left rear.  She's still eating and drinking and she still hops around so as long as she is comfortable we will see what happens.  Going to start looking for a barn cat to keep the mice down so this doesn't happen again.  I lost Far too many babies due to mice chewing on them.

Not the best picture in the world of the New baby.  She's a 6 week old New Zealand White x Californian mix.  I'll be crossing her to Aragorn when she's old enough for 3/4 New Zealand 1/4 Californian babies of color.  I've been researching the cross of New Zealand to Californian and keep hearing they bulk up faster and taste better.  She's got very nice wide shoulders and a solidly wide strong hip.  All solid good components for Meat production.  I'll try it out with her.
On top of it, she's very pretty and sweet.

She is a very pretty bunny. How awful about the mice. Nelson is always trying to give us a barn cat, he probably has one to spare.

What are you using for lyme vaccine?? They don't have one approved for horses yet, just dogs
